VERY INSPIRING BLOGGER AWARD

Needless to say…I’m flattered 🙂

But, with great power comes great responsibility, so let’s get down to business.

Here are 7 things about me and my writing that you might not know:

1. As of March 1st, I will have been writing fiction for 10 months. 
2. In that time, I’ve written the first and second drafts of SIGHTLESS, the first two chapters of DIVE, 8 short stories, and over 30 blog posts. If that sounds like bragging, that’s because it is. I’m pretty proud of myself. 🙂
3. My worst fear, to date, is that I will never be published. To fight that fear, I write every single day, no matter what.
4. I’m thinking about starting a business (a business!). It’ll be a query and synopsis editing service for writers (a la The Girl with the Green Pen), and it’ll be part of this site. Stay tuned.
5. My biggest inspiration right now is Juliana L Brandt. She’s brave, talented, and hard working…not to mention a fierce friend. I wanna grow up to be just like her.
6. I’m a chronic abuser of filter words (saw, thought, wondered, realized, etc) in my writing. I have to fight them off with a stick.
7. I am more grateful for the online writing community than I can ever say. You guys make me proud to be a writer 🙂
